Savedra Dive Center

Founded in 1983 by German military diver Manfred Langer, it was one of the first dive centers in the area. With his time divided between Savedra, and other dive centers in Cebu, Manfred sold the business in 1985. Later he went on to found Kontiki Divers in Mactan, and pioneered dive safaris, back then this meant tents on the beach, or hammocks on the boats.

in 1989 Seven Seas Aquanauts Corp was born, and several other dive centers came under its banner, Karl h Epp became a partner, and once again Savedra Dive Center came back into the family.

Sadly Manfred passed away in 2014, but his legacy is thriving and continues to grow. Today Savedra is home to Seven Seas Aquanauts Scuba academy, one of the few PADI 5 star Career Development Centers  in the country, and an accredited Tec Rec Center.
