PADI Dive Courses

Seven Seas is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center, we offer the complete range of diver training programs, suitable for our location, from their curriculum. Our courses come with the option of paperback books, online, or downloadable digital materials, something to suit all learning styles and time constraints.

For more information on the different types of materials offered by PADI, visit their website here, if you have any questions about which might best suit you, please get in touch with our staff, we’ll be happy to advise you.

Course Duration

A question we are often asked is how long will a particular course take. Something that should be clearly understood by candidates is that these courses are not time based, they are performance based. Student divers need to meet or exceed a minimum level of performance for each skill, or level of understanding for academic topics.

For that reason we can only tell you average course duration, it is always wise to leave a little extra time in case you experience difficulty in one or more areas, our instructors are here to train you to a required standard, and in doing so keep you safe.

Medical Fitness

All student divers are required to complete a medical questionnaire if a student answers yes to any of the screening questions they must get the approval of a licensed doctor prior to any inwater activity. The purpose of this is to prevent anyone being exposed to unnecessary risk, some conditions are simply incompatible with breathing compressed gas underwater. Please be advised withholding any information may place you, and your instructor, in a dangerous situation. You can download your form here, if you need it in another language please let our staff know. Medical Waiver
